Pipeline Campaign: Moving Forward

nopipeline

This Tuesday over 50 people gathered to discuss the next steps in our campaign to stop the Atlantic Sunrise Pipeline.  This was a very critical meeting, given the recent rupture of the Williams-operated pipeline near Unityville.

A significant portion of the meeting was devoted to choosing specific targets for the campaign.  Those present at the meeting identified FERC, Williams, landowners, township supervisors and Governor Wolf as entities that both have power to stop the pipeline and are able to be influenced by the campaign.

June MeetingWe meet every third Tuesday at 6pm.  Our next meeting will be July 21st at the Links at Hemlock Creek Golf Course in the Pro Shop.

There’s plenty to do in the mean time!  Please contact us if you are interested in volunteering for the campaign.
